These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jules platform at [YOUR DOMAIN], operated by [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Jules", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our service you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Relevant legislation includes the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017, Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and Fair Trading Act 1986.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Jules. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
If you are using Jules on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to access it.
You must provide accurate information when signing up. If any of your details change, please keep your account up to date.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
Jules is an AI-assisted marketplace tool. It helps you find, buy, sell, or rent items by having a conversation with our AI assistant. Jules does not itself buy or sell anything — we connect you with information and listings.
Our AI assistant is powered by third-party technology (Anthropic). While we aim for accuracy, AI responses may contain errors. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions.
You agree not to use Jules to:
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules, without notice.
Any transaction you enter into through a listing found via Jules is directly between you and the other party. Jules is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any goods or services.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, goods sold by a business must meet certain guarantees. This is the seller's obligation, not Jules'.
[Decide: will you charge fees? If so, add payment terms here.]
All content, branding, and software on the Jules platform is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as listing descriptions or chat messages). By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the service.
To the extent permitted by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, Jules is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate.
Our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Jules is limited to the greater of NZD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act where you are a consumer.
Jules integrates with third-party services including Google, Meta, Supabase, and Anthropic. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their conduct or availability.
We may modify or discontinue features of Jules at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
You may stop using Jules and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms. Sections 7, 8, and 13 survive termination.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS]. We will try to resolve it informally within 20 working days.
If we cannot resolve the dispute, it will be referred to the New Zealand courts. For consumer disputes under NZD $30,000 you may also use the Disputes Tribunal.
